Imagine going to your local nail salon and dunking your feet into a bath filled with small, dark fish. The little, toothless, flesh-eating fish nibble away at dead skin leaving behind a healthy layer of epidermis. The live fish pedicure is definitely an alternative to the unsanitary razors and pumice stones currently used by most salons.
The fish spend about 15 minutes eating away the surface layer of skin that’s typically hard, dry and cracked. Once the fish are removed, clients are given a standard pedicure. Mmm… Not too sure how I feel about this one, but I am up for trying something new.
